When I first thought about making a clock was "How am I going to be able to make a clock with working parts?" but then as Mrs. Proctor explained it a little bit more my head started to calm down and I was able to think of a couple ideas of what I can do to make this clock. The first cool Idea that I thought could work was to make a clock with a tree cookie body and then have roman numerals instead of normal numbers that we see every day. I know it is simple but I have a certain amount of time to complete this.
The first thing I did was to get the numbers and the middle design designed out on illustrator.
I then got measurements of the clock mech that was given to us by the teacher. I used Inventor and Fusion 360 to create the the way I want the mech being place in my clock.
I then used that on the router to make the big hole in the back to hold the mech.
The only thing that is left is to cut out the hole for the part that moves the hands. I used Illustrator to make the exact measurements for the hole.
I then used those measurements and the laser printer to cut out the hole.
